Privacy Notice
SelectOptions.com knows that you care how information about you is used and
shared, and we appreciate your trust that we will do so carefully and sensibly.
The information
we collect helps us personalize and continually improve the site and provide
superior customer service. This notice describes our privacy policy. By visiting
SelectOptions.com, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy
Notice.
Here are the types of information we gather.
- Personally Identifiable Information: We receive and store any information
you enter on our site or give us in any other way. This information identifies
who you are and how you can be contacted. You can choose not to provide certain
information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of many of the
sites features. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as
responding to your requests, communicating with you, improving your site experience,
and to keep you up to date on special offers and other information we think
you would like to hear about. This may occasionally include information from
other companies.
- Credit Card Information: Your credit card information is not stored on the
site. During a payment transaction, the credit card data is transmitted into
the merchant banking system using a secure SSL encrypted connection, and the
data is purged immediately upon completion of the payment transaction.
- Your Account Password: Your login password is always transmitted using
a secure SSL encrypted connection. The passwords stored in the password database
are encoded using a non-reversible hash algorithm. User passwords can not be
reconstructed from information in the database.
- Automatic Information: We receive and store certain types of information
whenever you interact with us. Examples of the information we collect and
analyze include the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer
to
the Internet; login; computer and connection information such as browser
type and version, operating system, and platform; the full Uniform Resource

time. During some visits we may use software tools to measure and collect
session

to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks,
and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page.
- E-mail Communications: The SelectOptions.com site use agreement (Membership
Agreement) specifies e-mail as the official means of notification. On important
notifications, we may request to receive a confirmation when you open e-mail
from us if your computer supports such capabilities. E-mail sent to us is automatically
archived.
What About Cookies?
- A cookie is small text file containing information that is transferred
from a web site to the hard drive of your computer so that the site can later
retrieve the information. SelectOptions.com uses cookies so that our programs
can string your site access into a session. Two such session cookies are used,
one secure session cookie (transmitted only on a SSL connection) and one non-secure
session cookie. These cookies help provide you security protection by making
the hijacking of your session more difficult. The cookies are automatically
deleted by your browser at the end of the session.
- These cookies help protect your security. If your browser is configured to
reject cookies from our site, we will attempt to maintain your user session
via URL rewriting. However, URL rewriting does not provide the same degree
of protection and at it doesn't always work. We strongly recommend that you
leave them turned on.
- Advertisers on our site may also attempt to store cookies on your computer.
The cookies will be attempted to be stored using the domain name of the advertising
server (not SelectOptons.com). Blocking these cookies will not effect your
use of our site, but it could result in you seeing the same ads over and over
again.
Does SelectOptions.com share the information it collects?
Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and
we are not in the business of selling it to others. We share customer information
only with qualified affiliates that follow practices at least as protective
as those described in this Privacy Notice.

We may e-mail periodic reminders of our notices and conditions, but you should
